Sourdough Strawberry Cake

Maybe it's considered cheating to use a cake mix, but sometimes you need a recipe that is simple and easy. If you want a strawberry icing, just add a teaspoon of unsweetened strawberry koolaid to your favorite white icing recipe. You may substitute any flavor cake mix for this recipe.

1 box cake mix such as Strawberry Supreme
2 tsp cornstarch
1 cup starter
1-3/4 cups milk or ricemilk
1/2 cup oil

In an 8-cup glass bowl, mix starter, milk, and oil. Add cake mix and cornstarch. Mix with electric mixer. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 glass dish. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
